Welcome to La Terrasse which sits in an elevated position in the quiet Pyreneean village of Le Vivier.
Originally a barn dating back to the 1800`s, it is now a one-bedroomed house offering a spacious and comfortable holiday home for single people or couples.
Many original features have been restored and we have added a few of our own touches, giving the house a modern feel but still retaining its old world charm.
It is available for let all year round including long winter lets and has heating in every room as well as a log fire in the living room.
The house has been finished to a high standard with attention to every detail.
The kitchen and dining area is on the top floor and opens onto the terrace. There is an electric fan oven, microwave oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, coffee filter and every kitchen utensil you might need during your stay. Even the knives are sharp!
The dining area seats four comfortably and looks out onto the terrace through double sliding patio doors.
The south facing terrace catches the sun all day and at night it is the perfect place to eat with the floodlit chateau as a backdrop.
In the living room on the middle floor the leather three piece suite is really comfortable. Perfect for lazy evenings in...
You could watch english freeview TV or a DVD or listen to a CD or english radio.There is a selection of CD's and DVD's but please feel free to bring your own.
On cold nights in winter there is a log fire for your use at no extra charge.
The bedroom is on the ground floor and is pleasantly cool in Summer. The double bed is very comfortable. There are two bedside tables with lamps, a dressing table with mirror and a wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and shelves for clothes and shoes. A fan and hairdryer are also provided.
The shower room is next door to the bedroom and has a toilet, wash hand basin with mirrored storage above, washing machine, shower cubicle, extractor fan and heated towel rail.
